Facebook Resources for Small Businesses

Facebook is one of the most popular social media platforms in the world and can be an amazing tool for your business. Check out some of the business resources you can use during this time:

Facebook Business Resource Hub

One of the best and newest ways to find resources is the Facebook Business Resource Hub. This is a central location to find important resources that Facebook has provided for small businesses during the COVID-19 crisis. Here are some of the things you can find:

5 Steps You Can Take Today

From staying informed to connecting with your customers, Facebook lays out five things you can do for your business during this time. Each topic has a drop-down explanation that goes into detail. They also include links to other important resources that small businesses might need during this time.

Small Business Grant Program

Facebook has launched its own Small Business Grant Program, pledging to give away $100 million to over 30,000 small businesses across the 30 countries they operate in. These grants are available to specific areas in the United States and to small businesses that have between 2 and 50 employees and have been in business for over a year. You can find out more information and if your area is eligible for this grant here.

Other Resources

Facebook has crafted guides tailored to certain industries. These guides include tips on how businesses can adapt and respond during this changing business environment. They have also added tool kits that businesses can use to prepare for unexpected events. This even includes a blank downloadable Quick Action Guide that you can use for your business.

Virtual Gift Cards

With businesses moving online out of necessity, Facebook has created virtual gift cards to further help small businesses. This is a great way for customers to support the local businesses around them during a time that they might not be able to in person.

There are two options consumers can choose from—Square and Kabbage. Once you set up your virtual business card, your audience can discover and purchase a gift card through the partner they choose. Gain more exposure for your gift cards by making a post, creating a story, or going Live. Facebook even has downloadable social media graphics you can use for your post.

Facebook is working hard to provide small businesses with the resources they need during this time. Check out some of the ones above and see how you can use them for your business.
