Using Content Boxes To Your Advantage

Have you been using content boxes on your Atwill Media website? If not, what are you waiting for? You're missing out on taking advantage of the most useful tool in your website building arsenal! But don't worry, if you're unsure of where to begin with Content Boxes, we've got the info and steps you need to take in order to get started.

Content Boxes let you display various types of content in 2 or 3 side-by-side boxes. They're a great tool for placing multiple types of content together in a horizontal row instead of vertically down a page. You can also use them to display content from other pages on your website.

Keep reading to learn the few easy steps it takes to get started using Content Boxes, and how you can use them to your advantage!

How To Add Content Boxes

Content Boxes can be added by clicking on Add To Page on your toolbar, once you've logged in to your website. Add To Page is located on the top left side of your toolbar, and is identified by a blue puzzle piece symbol.

Once you click on Add To Page, you'll see a number of options. Click on the Content section (the first section in the list on the left side) and then find Content Boxes. This will be the fourth option in the list.

Once you click on Content Boxes, a screen will come up where you can edit the specific parts of your Content Box. You can either make a 2 or 3 box widget, and you can add an Optional Title to your content box. You can also choose to align the title to the left or center, and choose whether to have spaces after the images you upload to the boxes.

To add content to your Content Box, simply click the Pencil Icon that says Add Content. From here, you can add any number of content options, including A Page, Review Quote, Gallery Image, Social Media, or Other Content. The Other Content includes Text, Image, Title, Button, and Embed boxes. You can drop and drop the content vertically to rearrange it, and delete the content by clicking on the Red X. Click "OK" once you have your content arranged the way you want it. After adding all the content you need to your Content Box, click Save Changes at the bottom of the screen, and your Content Box will be added to the bottom of the current page you are on! You can rearrange the box to wherever you want it to be, as with all the Add to Page options on your website.

How To Use Content Boxes

Content Boxes are a truly versatile tool that can be used for some many wonderful things. By placing the content side-by-side, you're able to add more depth to your page, and add content horizontally instead of only vertically.

You can use content boxes for a multitude of helpful purposes, including displaying your products in an attractive order, showing off multiple social media streams, or changing up your design to attract customers' attentions!

Want to show off a selection of some of your best reviews? You can do it with a Content Box! Just select Review from the content drop down menu, and pick your favorite reviews to display.

There's no limit to what you can accomplish through Content Boxes!
