What Your Website Reviews Can Do For You

If you're a business owner, it's important to know the influence of customer reviews on your company. After all, don't you always check the reviews before deciding to buy a product or purchase a service from someone?

We all do. It's human nature to be skeptical of someone you haven't done business with in the past. People want you to convince them to buy your products. That's where reviews come in.

The reviews you receive, whether they be through Facebook or on your Atwill Media website, paint a vibrant picture about your company, and how it is perceived by others.

Trust

One of the main things that reviews do is add a sense of trust to the buying cycle. When customers are looking at your reviews they are in the Alleviation of Risks part of the buying cycle. They are making a pros and cons list of what will happen if they buy from your company as opposed to another. They are also only one step away from actually taking the necessary steps to make a purchase from you, making good reviews an essential piece of the puzzle to get someone to buy from you.

Atwill Media makes it very simple to display your reviews. Just login to your Atwill Media website using your username and password, then click on Site Tools near the top right of your toolbar. Find the Manage Customer Reviews section, and you can look at all of the reviews you've received from customers in a 5-star rating format. You can choose which reviews you want to display (usually the positive ones) and keep the rest hidden.

Outside Opinion

Not only do review build a bridge of trust between you and your customers, they also give customers a much needed outside opinion. What does that mean? Well, have you ever been in the process of buying something, but just couldn't quite decide whether to take the leap into actually making the purchase? Did you ask someone you trusted, such as a spouse, family member, or friend, what their opinion is?

Many of us have sought outside opinions when deciding whether to make a purchase. Think of your reviews as that family member or friend who's sharing their opinion of your products with thousands of people online. It's a fantastic selling tool that gently nudges people toward buying from you.

Professionalism

Lastly, your reviews give off a strong feeling of professionalism. When someone sees that you proudly display your reviews on your website, they understand that you're a business that values others opinions. This gives off a strong sense of professionalism and respectability to those looking to buy from you.

Remember, if you have a Facebook Business Page, it's also a good idea to routinely check the reviews you get on there as well, as these are public to anyone who visits your page, and cannot be moderated in the same way as your website reviews.

Encourage customers to leave reviews on both your Atwill Media website and your Facebook Page. These reviews will be a positive asset to your growing business.
